Jeffs Northshore Auto Incorporated (2024)

After a week of shopping for a vehicle for my daughter, I found a 2007 Ford Escape on Cars.com. The vehicle was listed for sale by Jeff's Northshore Auto for $6,975.00 (#5981). I contacted the dealership and spoke to a salesperson by the name of Mike. We went through the specifics on the vehicle and the reason it was priced low. Mike informed me that it had been used as a security vehicle and that the price was accurate. I asked him to figure out the exact amount it would take to purchase this vehicle with tax, license and fees. He asked where I was coming from and I explained I was about 2 hours away and would be coming up Friday or Saturday. Saturday morning I went to the bank and withdrew the exact amount and headed to Menasha, WI. Once I arrived, I noticed that they had raised the price of the vehicle by $3,000. If there was a ZERO star rating, I would have assigned it. This place sells JUNK. And do it very deceitfully. They know full well that there are issues with these vehicles but give the the "clean" bill for sale anyway. Guaranteed by the time you get home, if not in the first few days all these (some very costly) problems will start to show up. All things that if someone actually did a full inspection on would have known and a reputatable dealer would fix before putting on the lot. Don't know for sure if they know of the problems, who knows if the vehicles are truly inspected?? if they are, then they're hiding the prolems. NOW, you bought the vehicle under thier false pretense and find the problems. One would certainly think that Jeff would stand behind his vehicles, but NO! He'll tell you, in quite the condecensing tone that they didn't have those issues when they had it and now its your problem. Can't believe they're still in business.

I would absolutely not buy a vehicle here again, for any price. My salesman, Steve Jacob, was very unwilling to negotiate a price with me, and despite my gut feeling that this man was shady, dishonest, and smug, I decided to purchase a car from him anyway. After taking the vehicle home and disovering several minor problems, Steve was very unwilling to help and after two weeks of trying to come up with a reasonable solution, I gave up on him and am now "hoping for the best" when concering the mechanical soundness of my new vehicle. Steve Jacob lives up to every negative stereotype there is about used car salesmen and I would not recomment him to my worst enemy.

Hello. Jeff's is a local family owned business, that keeps the family in mind. Compared to a lot of other used vehicle dealers, we do thingsa little differant. Basically we price our vehicle quite modestly, and complete a full safety inspection before any car is sold, after that inspection is complete we ask the bare minimum profitto keep our doors open and our lights on.
